一、有關網路流傳被人挾持時可倒轉輸入提款機密碼以間接知會警方乙節，純屬誤傳，謹澄清如下：
（一）如密碼輸入錯誤，該筆交易將不成功；不可能吐鈔。
（二）持卡人於自動櫃員機輸入密碼時，係由晶片金融卡直接進行密碼正確性之驗證；並未送至發卡行檢核，故自動櫃員機無法判斷持卡人密碼輸入之方式，亦不會間接知會警方。
